Understanding how your boyfriend's brain works

You’re mid-sentence, pouring your heart out about a complex emotional conflict at work. You look over, and he’s staring at the TV, or worse, he offers a three-word "solution" that completely misses the point. You feel dismissed. You feel unheard. You think he doesn't care.

As a physician who studies the physical architecture of the human brain, I’m here to tell you: It’s not a lack of heart; it’s a difference in hardware.

The male brain isn't a "mysterious void." It is a highly specialized organ shaped by millions of years of distinct hormonal and evolutionary pressures. To understand your boyfriend, you have to stop looking at his behavior through a "female-standard" lens and start looking at his Neuro-Chemical Blueprint.
